Q: I’m sick of this LD relationship. I need more attention and time than this is giving me. I can’t do it anymore…I just can’t. It’s him, his family, the distance..just everything..I’m so tired of everything. I just want a break, but he insists on calling even after I’ve asked. Is my relationship over?

A: Yes.

It happens to most relationships, long distance or not. When you are sick and tired and sick and tired and you hate the way he talks, looks, takes a breath, holds his pencil…then yes, it’s better to let it go then to try to hang on to something you are not committed to.  Be firm, make yourself clear with him, then take the space you need. Who knows, you may find the grass isn’t greener on the other side.
