Valentines Day Ideas for Long Distance Relationships
In exactly one month Valentines Day will be here.
You can either look at it with excitement because you’ll be able to use your creativity, or you can look at it and groan because you won’t get to see your partner.
I prefer the excitement, so here are some ideas for celebrating Valentines Day in a Long Distance Relationship.
Budget Friendly
Send an ecard, but make it personal - free
Write a romantic letter and mail it. This is much more personal than an ecard- $2.00
Buy a card and send it- $5.00
Make a slide show, save it a CD-ROM, and mail it. Be sure to test the CD before you send it because if you don’t do it right, it will only show up on your computer, not anyone elses. $5.00
Make a collage with a few pictures of yourself, your home, your life. Give your partner an idea of what it’s like to spend the day with you. Be sure to make it pretty. Mail it to them or if you are really budget conscious scan it and email it. I prefer the mailing option- $10.00
Romantically Creative
You each should make a nice dinner. Set the table and setup your webcam. Make it a Skype Date.
Buy a nice personalized gift. It’s even better if it’s personalized to include the both of you.
